From María Zambrano station to Puerto Banús: 95€ and about 55 minutes
Puerto Banús is 66 km from Málaga station, about 55 minutes on the MA-20 and the AP-7, and it has no train and no bus stop near the marina hotels. That is why most people arriving by AVE for a few days in Banús book the car before boarding: you step off at María Zambrano, the driver is waiting at the exit and drops you at the door of the Guadalpín, the Meliá, the Benabola or your apartment in the marina.
The price is fixed and you see it before booking: 95€ for the saloon up to 4 people, 108€ for the estate and 139€ for the 8-seater minivan, always with VAT and luggage. The AP-7 toll, if we use it, is paid separately to the driver, as is the trip itself: cash or card on arrival, nothing in advance.
For the train back we collect you wherever you say, in the marina or in Nueva Andalucía, and drop you at the station in good time. On summer nights some stretches of the marina are closed to traffic; the driver knows the permitted pickup points and tells you the nearest one.
