Fuengirola has a local train, but people arriving on the AVE with suitcases, children or after a long trip from Madrid often prefer not to change trains, wait on the platform and then look for a taxi at Fuengirola station to reach the hotel. We wait for you at the María Zambrano exit and drop you at the door: 33 km on the MA-20 and the A-7, about 30 minutes, no tolls.
The price is fixed and you see it before booking: 60€ for the saloon up to 4 passengers, 68€ for the estate with a large boot and 80€ for the 8-seater minivan, VAT and luggage included. You pay the driver on arrival, cash or card, and there is no charge for waiting if the train is late.
The return to the station costs the same and is timed to your AVE: we collect you in Fuengirola, Los Boliches, Torreblanca or Carvajal and drop you on the Explanada de la Estación with time to spare.

Is the taxi worth it when there is a local train to Fuengirola?
It depends on what you travel with. With luggage, children or reduced mobility the taxi saves you the change at María Zambrano, the wait and the last stretch from Fuengirola station; with a backpack the local train is a good option.
How long does it take?
About 30 minutes on the MA-20 and the A-7 in normal traffic, 40 at rush hour. For the AVE back we recommend leaving Fuengirola an hour before departure.
Do you wait if the train is late?
Yes, free of charge. You enter the train arrival time when booking and the driver waits at the main Vialia exit with a sign with your name, even if the AVE is delayed.
How do I pay?
